Australian South Asia Forum Inc. (ASAF) is proud to host the South Asian Film, Arts & Literature Festival (SAFAL fest) as an annual event, celebrating the rich and diverse arts, culture, languages & literature of the dynamic South Asian region comprising the eight nations of:

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan

SAFAL FEST

SAFAL Fest offers a smorgasbord of events and activities designed to showcase talent, exhibits and performances, having the rich cultural heritage and traditions of South Asia as the common theme.

The festival is open to all with many FREE entry events in addition to those requiring PAID TICKETS. Catering is available at the events to enjoy delicious Indian sub-continental foods.

In order to present, the performers, artists and authors need to be of South Asian heritage or their works need to have a significant South Asian theme or talent.

The South Asian Film, Arts & Literature Festival (SAFAL fest) is an annual event organsied and hosted by the not-for-profit Australian South Asia Forum Inc. and its team of volunteers. It's aim is to promote and celebrate the rich and diverse, culture and langauges of the South Asian region comprising the eight nations of the Indian sub-continent.
